Meet Your Trainer

Welcome to Ally K9 Academy! My name is Kassidy Bertelsen and I am setting out on a journey to help people, like you, build strong relationships and bonds with their beloved dogs through my proven communication based training methods. My passion for dog training started when I was in grade school. I adopted my very own dog, Mazzy, and started a dog walking and boarding business. I quickly realized from a young age that I was going to center my life and career around these furry friends. During my time in college, I got connected with a service dog training organization called Handi-Dogs Inc. who I worked with and trained through for 3 years. Having that experience with Handi-Dogs inspired me to dedicate my life to learning all about the canine mind and training both dogs, and their owners, in order to build a relationship with one another. After graduating from the University of Arizona with my degree in Business, I continued my education studying Canine Psychology at the world-renowned CATCH Canine Academy. My communication based training methods have proven that long-lasting obedience and the best training results occur when we take the time to understand how the canine mind works, learns, and processes information. I am so excited that you are interested in taking the next steps to creating a strong bond and mutual trust with your dog, and I can't wait to help guide you though every part of this adventure.

 Ally K9 Academy is located in the beautiful city of Flagstaff, Arizona north of Phoenix.
